"NYPD Blue's" Sharon Lawrence Was Special Guest At Indianapolis 500

 HOLLYWOOD: Multiple Emmy nominee and former "NYPD Blue" star, Sharon Lawrence, was the guest of honor for the running of the 82nd Annual Indianapolis 500 automobile race. This year's race took place on Sunday, May 24.
A highly coveted spot, the celebrity guest-of-honor is treated to a weekend of fun activities and is allowed to experience the race from a vantage point few others enjoy. Ms. Lawrence appeared in the nationally televised parade, attended the Queen's Ball and received VIP tickets to watch the race itself...the greatest spectacle in racing.
As a highlight to the weekend, Ms. Lawrence and her guests joined a police escorted motorcade to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where they rode completely around the famous oval on the back of a Corvette convertible in front of a crowd of over 300,000. This is an amazing perspective that usually only race drivers are privileged to experience.
The Hollywood-Madison Group, a Los Angeles-based company specializing in celebrity endorsements and personal appearances was responsible for securing the artist. The Festival Activities Committee of the Indianapolis 500 coordinated the events surrounding the race.
