Actress and Mother, Josie Bissett, Creates a Digital Family Time Capsule For Philips Consumer Electronics  

HOLLYWOOD: Melrose Place star and child advocate, Josie Bisett, was on hand in New York recently to help Philips Consumer Electronics launch their new DVD-Recorder. Ms. Bissett, who is the mother of two children, created a digital family time capsule by converting old home videos, photos and other memories into a permanent digital record stored on DVD.

Designed to show families how they can create their own digital family time capsule, the campaign highlighted how parents can transfer existing family memories (birthdays, holidays, vacations), from older formats like videotape and film, to the more durable DVD format. Now families can create something that can be handed-down to younger generations that will stand the test of time.

As part of the campaign, Philips is working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to archive their video library and to help reach consumers with key tips on how to keep children safe.

The Hollywood-Madison Group, a Los Angeles-based company specializing in celebrity endorsements and personal appearances was responsible for securing the artist. Manning, Selvage & Lee Atlanta manages the campaign.
