Shannon Miller, Ahmad Rashad And Nancy Kerrigan Become 'Star Gamers'

HOLLYWOOD: Sportscaster Ahmad Rashad, along with Olympic champions, Shannon Miller and Nancy Kerrigan, have been named among the first group of "Star Gamers". This public relations initiative was designed to promote the 3Dfx VooDoo micro-processor chip that, when installed into retail computers, turn them into exciting gaming platforms.
3Dfx manufactures a line of 3D graphic accelerators that intensify the overall gaming experience. When a 3D graphics accelerator card is added to a computer, games play faster and become more exciting, bringing the gaming experience to a completely new level. 3Dfx leads the market with the most popular graphics accelerator chip available.
"3Dfx Star Gamers" is a program designed to convey the cool brand of 3Dfx by distributing 3Dfx products to a select group of today's hottest stars. In exchange, each of our "Star Gamers" provide 3Dfx with feedback about their gaming experience by way of a brief questionnaire. Select "quotes" are then used for public relation initiatives.
