HOLLYWOOD: Judge Mills Lane, known as much for his trademark rallying cry to boxers “Let’s Get It On” (he refereed the famous Tyson/Holyfield match), as he is for his daytime courtroom series, is at the center of a new commercial campaign for 1-800-THE-LAW2, a lawyer-referral service offered by Legal Rights Defenders, Inc. of California.
Legal Rights Defenders is an English-language, joint advertising venture, serving California-based attorneys. Participating attorneys practice different areas of the law, but primarily offer personal injury and workers compensation services. LRD offers consumers a trustworthy manner of receiving a referral to a qualified attorney. All member-attorneys must meet certain requirements to participate in the service.
“Because of his celebrity and common man-appeal, Judge Mills Lane was determined to be the very best choice to speak to LRD’s primary demographics,” said Jonathan Holiff, president of The Hollywood-Madison Group – a celebrity endorsement agency in Los Angeles. Lane will appear in 8 television and radio spots, as well as in print ads, beginning immediately.
The Hollywood-Madison Group, a Los Angeles-based company specializing in celebrity endorsements and personal appearances was responsible for securing the artists. Walker Advertising produced the campaign.
