The Cast Of "Malcolm In The Middle" Among Presenters At The "Sunset Strip Billboard Awards"

HOLLYWOOD: The Sunset Strip has featured some of the most eye-catching, elaborate and often thought provoking billboard campaigns in the history of the medium. The "Sunset Strip Billboard Awards" ceremony, presented by the City of West Hollywood, was created to recognize those involved in the entertainment and advertising industries who conceive, design and produce these landmark placards.
The event, which was staged above the "Strip" in the rooftop ballroom of the Hyatt West Hollywood Hotel, took place on Thursday, July 13, 2000. The show was well-covered by the media and parts will be re-broadcast by Bravo’s innovative series “Media Television.”
Perhaps the most endearing presentation of the evening featured all three stars of FOX's "Malcolm In The Middle." Ranging in age from 9 to 14, Frankie Muniz ("Malcolm"), Justin Birfield ("Reese") and Erik Per Sullivan ("Dewey), who celebrated his ninth birthday that evening, had the audience in stitches. Among the other presenters at the first annual "Sunset Strip Billboard Awards, were: Traci Bingham (“Baywatch”); Alexandra Holden (“Friends”); David Keith (“An Officer & A Gentleman”); and, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe (“She’s All That”, "Nash Bridges").
The Hollywood-Madison Group, a Los Angeles-based company specializing in celebrity endorsements and personal appearances was responsible for securing the talent.
